The United States is peeved with the failure of Israel to support Ukraine, noting that America has stood by Israel, providing it with billions of taxpayer dollars yearly to buttress its defenses but Tel Aviv has failed to provide Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy with weapons, food, and cash.

Photo Insert: Zelenskiyy has said that Israel would support Ukraine to the hilt since it has a large Jewish community but hinted that it has not done so.
Zelenskiyy is Jewish and he has railed against Russia for destroying Jewish memorials in Kyiv and Kharkiv.
Writing for Haaretz, Ben Samuels reported on Mar. 2, 2022 (Mar. 3 in Manila) that US officials are growing increasingly impatient with Israel’s attempts to support Ukraine without alienating Russia, arguing that anything less than full support for the beleaguered nation falls short.
Israel’s stance is out of sync with the international community and has provoked rare bipartisan criticism in Washington, as Jerusalem strives to maintain Moscow’s permission to operate over Syria, where Russia effectively controls the airspace and lets Israel attack Iranian targets according to numerous foreign reports.
Zelenskiyy has said that Israel would support Ukraine to the hilt since it has a large Jewish community but hinted that it has not done so, and it has become a source of shame for Ukrainian Jews.
Poland, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Romania, France, the US, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, and Moldova have all provided weapons and cash for Ukraine.
