British DIY retailer Toolstream has entered administration, resulting in the loss of more than 100 jobs, the company announced, citing the lingering effects of the COVID-19 global supply-chain crisis, Paul Withers and Astha Saxena reported for the Daily Express.

A notice posted on Toolstream’s website said the affairs, business, and property of both companies are now under the control of administrators.
According to reports, employees were called to a meeting last week and told to stay at home until further notice.
Founded in 2009, Toolstream grew rapidly into one of Europe’s major tool distributors, earning a reputation for supplying a wide range of high-quality hand tools, power tools, and premium workwear.
The company distributed more than 6,000 products to retailers.
By securing exclusive distribution rights for thousands of leading brands, Toolstream served both independent shops and large national retailers across global markets, establishing a strong reputation for reliability and scale.
