Ukraine Claims Destruction Of 2 Russian Landing Ships Off Crimea

Ukraine has reported that it targeted two landing ships, a communications center, and other infrastructure used by Russia's Black Sea fleet off annexed Crimea, as reported by James Gregory and Paulin Kola for BBC News.

The Russian-installed governor of the port of Sevastopol claimed that 10 Ukrainian missiles had been shot down. Russia also launched a missile and drone attack on the capital, Kyiv, and the region of Lviv early on Sunday.

Residents of Kyiv sought shelter in metro stations as the attack began at 05:00 (03:00 GMT). Officials stated that their defenses had intercepted 18 Russian missiles and 25 drones, resulting in only minor damage.
