“The enemy attacked from the air with Tu-95ms strategic bombers, which fired Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles from the Caspian Sea and Volgodonsk. Kalibr-type sea-launched cruise missiles were fired from warships in the Black Sea,” the report revealed.
As of 11:30 a.m., Russian troops fired seventy-one Kh-101, Kh-555 and Kalibr-type cruise missiles.
The anti-aircraft defense units of Ukraine’s Air Force and other units of the Defense Forces destroyed 61 enemy cruise missiles and five Shahed-136/131 suicide drones.
In a related development, Caleb Davis reported for Reuters that Russia likely lost dozens of armored vehicles near Ukraine's Vuhledar, according to the British defense ministry, after a failed attack.
Russian military bloggers said 31 armored vehicles were lost as columns were bludgeoned by artillery and drones and demanded that generals lead their troops in the frontlines.
