Norway also vowed to deliver at least three multiple launch rocket systems to Ukraine while Switzerland imposed further sanctions on Russia.

These assurances came as Russian President Vladimir Putin denied that the Kremenchuk mall attack was the result of terrorism.

"Nobody just fires at fields. The Russian army does not strike any civilian objects. There is no need for this. We have all the possibilities to determine what is where, and we achieve these goals with modern high-precision long-range weapons," he stated.

Despite being shown the bodies of Putin's victims, Russia's defense ministry previously accepted responsibility for a missile strike that destroyed a retail mall in Kremenchuk but rejected claims of civilian casualties.
