“Ukraine cannot shoot down Russian missiles with shotguns and machine guns,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said during his latest address. He added that Ukraine is waiting too long for the required weapons.

“Who is leading the Euro-Atlantic community? Is it still Moscow through intimidation?” Zelensky asked.

As this developed, Kyiv Independent reported that Ukrainian forces liberated the strategic villages of Poltavka and Malynivka while drone attacks forced Russian forces to disperse their tanks and missile launchers that have been hit at night.

Ukraine also reported that as of Mar. 27, a total of 16,400 Russian soldiers have been killed while 575 tanks and 1,640 armored vehicles were destroyed and 1,131 cars blasted.

A total of 293 artillery pieces, 91 multiple rocket launchers, 51 surface-to-air missiles, at least 117 jets, 127 helicopters, 7 boats/ships, 73 fuel tankers, and 56 drones were also destroyed.

To spite Putin, Ukraine said a Belarusian Volunteer Battalion officially joined its military. Earlier, a Georgia Legion was also formed and deployed along with the International Legion comprised of Americans, British, French, Germans, Greeks, Irish, Canadians, and Japanese, many of them former soldiers.
