Ukrainians Eliminate Nearly 1,000 Russian Soldiers In One Day

Ukrainian troops eliminated 950 Russian soldiers on Oct. 29, 2022, the biggest number of fatalities in one day notched by Kyiv since Feb. 24, bringing the total of Russian losses to 71,200 soldiers, Ukrainian News reported.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) announced that Russia suffered the greatest number of fatalities in the Donetsk and Lyman regions. Kyiv reported that Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks in 10 settlements even as Moscow has sent military units to Belarus.


Russia lost a total of 2,675 tans from February 24 to October 30, with 13 destroyed on Oct. 29. Fifty-two armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) were wrecked on the same day, pushing the total AFVs lost to 5,453. Sixteen artillery systems were also blasted, raising the total to 1,724.



Three more MLRS systems were knocked out, increasing the losses to 383. Two more air defense systems were eliminated within 24 hours, for an aggregate loss of 187. A Russian warplane was downed, pushing the total losses to 274 while 252 helicopters were destroyed.

A total of 16 boats and ships were sunk, and 13 automotive equipment and trucks were wrecked by Ukrainian fire, raising the Russian losses to 4,120. Two special pieces of equipment were rendered useless on Oct. 29, raising the total lost to 154.
