Ukrainians Kill 480 Russian Troops, Down 3 Choppers In One Day

Ukrainian forces continue to score huge victories against Russian invading troops, with Kyiv reporting that 480 Russian soldiers were killed in attacks in eastern and southern Ukraine, Ukrinform reported, bringing total Russian fatalities to 68,400.

Twenty-one tanks and 26 fighting vehicles were also knocked out by infantrymen, tanks, and drones during the day as the troops sent to conquer Kyiv on Feb. 24, 2022, beat a hasty retreat from the Kherson region.

Three helicopters and one warplane were likewise destroyed within a span of 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The General Staff said Russia had lost 2,611 tanks, 5,321 armored fighting vehicles, 1,674 artillery systems, 377 multiple launch rocket systems, 190 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 271 aircraft, 248 helicopters, 4,054 motor vehicles and fuel tanks, 16 warships/boats, 1,372 unmanned aerial vehicles and 149 special equipment units since Feb. 24.

A total of 350 enemy cruise missiles were also shot down.
