Wendy’s New CEO Vows to Improve Food Quality as Chain Struggles

Wendy's has lost more than half of its market value over the past two years, and the restaurant chain's new CEO, Bob Wright, acknowledged that food quality had not received enough attention, Forbes Daily reported.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Wright said he plans to shift attention away from promotional activity and back toward the core menu, as investor Nelson Peltz is reportedly considering a deal to take the chain private.
