PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco spearheaded on Monday the inauguration of two newly constructed multi-purpose centers in the towns of San Manuel and Victoria in Tarlac province.

PAGCOR allocated a total of Php100 million for both projects
Mr. Tengco outlined the facilities provided by PAGCOR for each multi-purpose center, including kitchen areas, storage for relief goods, toilet and shower rooms, lactating rooms, and spacious activity areas for various events.
He emphasized the importance of being prepared for natural disasters, stating that while the buildings are designed as temporary shelters during emergencies, they can also serve multiple socio-civic purposes.
During the event, Chairman Tengco introduced PAGCOR's upcoming flagship programs, which include school buildings, e-learning centers, community wellness centers, and socio-civic centers across the country.
These initiatives aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of Filipinos.
San Manuel Mayor Doña Cresencia Tesoro and Board Member Harmes Sembrano of the 2nd District of Tarlac expressed gratitude to PAGCOR for funding the construction of the multi-purpose facilities in their respective towns.
Mayor Tesoro highlighted the significance of the project for San Manuel, acknowledging PAGCOR's commitment to serving the Filipino people. Board Member Sembrano also praised PAGCOR's assistance, emphasizing the benefits the facility will bring to Victoria and neighboring areas.
PAGCOR has completed and inaugurated a total of 38 multi-purpose buildings nationwide, with 34 others currently under construction. These projects reflect PAGCOR's dedication to enhancing communities and supporting Filipinos in various aspects of their lives.
