AC Motors Eyes 100 Free Charging Stations By 2024

In its commitment to being a top EV platform in the Philippines, Ayala-led automotive company AC Motors plans to set up 100 free charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) across the country by next year, according to AC Motors Chairman Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.

The company launched BYD’s first electric vehicle, Atto 3, at the Glorietta Activity Mall in Makati last Friday, where Zobel mentioned in his speech that they are "working on the development of the critical charging infrastructure and other lifestyle elements that support it to ensure that [their] customers can drive worry-free with their EVs."

As of now, AC Motors has 20 charging stations across NCR in locations such as Vertis North, TriNoma, One Ayala, Greenbelt, and Seda BGC, among others. Zobel de Ayala also emphasized that these charging stations will be free for EV owners for the rest of this year.
