Accenture. Accenture Shares Rise After Earnings Jump and Upbeat 2027 Guidance

Accenture reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $18.68 billion and GAAP diluted earnings per share of $3.29, while providing fiscal 2027 guidance for revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency.

The consulting and technology-services company said fourth-quarter revenue increased 6% in US dollars and 7% in local currency from a year earlier.

Revenue was above the company's previous guidance range of $17.75 billion to $18.40 billion.

Fourth-quarter GAAP diluted earnings per share rose 46% to $3.29 from $2.25 a year earlier. The $3.29 figure is GAAP diluted EPS, not adjusted EPS, as stated in the original article.

Accenture reported broad-based growth across geographic markets, industry groups and types of work.

Fourth-quarter revenue increased 7% in local currency in both consulting and managed services.

For fiscal 2027, Accenture expects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency. It forecasts GAAP diluted EPS of $14.39 to $14.81, representing a 6% to 9% increase over fiscal 2026 GAAP EPS and a 3% to 6% increase over fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS.

The company also expects to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2027.

Chair and CEO Julie Sweet said the company had exceeded its fourth-quarter revenue guidance range, achieved broad-based growth and returned a record $11.5 billion to shareholders during fiscal 2026.
