First Gen Bares Avion Power Plant Operation

First Gen Corporation (First Gen) has been advised by its subsidiary, Prime Meridian Powergen Corporation (PMPC), that the recommissioning and testing activities of Unit 2 of the 97MW Avion Power Plant using liquid fuel have been completed.

The unit is now commercially available for liquid fuel operation. Recommissioning and testing activities on gas operation will be conducted once Malampaya natural gas supply becomes available.
The Avion Power Plant is owned by PMPC and located within the First Gen Clean Energy Complex in Batangas City.
