Despite the settlement with Dominion, Fox’s legal problems may not be over. It still faces a $2.7-billion defamation lawsuit from another voting technology company, Smartmatic, Jennifer Peltz and Nicholas Riccardi reported for the Associated Press (AP).

Its lawyer, Erik Connolly, said Tuesday that “Dominion’s litigation exposed some of the misconduct and damage caused by Fox’s disinformation campaign. Smartmatic will expose the rest.”
Worse, AP and Reuters also reported that some Fox investors are seeking internal documents as they question what management did in disseminating the lies that Donald Trump dished out.
This may be a prelude to investors filing lawsuits against Rupert Murdoch and Fox Corp. executives.
