Holcim Places Order For Hypertruck ERX

Hyliion Holdings Corp. (NYSE: HYLN) (“Hyliion”), a leader in electrified powertrain solutions for Class 8 semi-trucks, has announced that Holcim US has ordered 10 units backed by deposits to secure Hypertruck ERX™ production slots, Business Wire reported.

A global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions with a focus on low-carbon construction, Holcim will utilize the Hyliion technology in its Texas and Oklahoma operations, where the Hypertruck ERX units will replace existing diesel-fueled trucks.

Holcim placed the order after visiting Hyliion’s headquarters, where they gained a deeper understanding of how the Hypertruck ERX could facilitate a reduction in their transportation carbon footprint.
