House GOP Ready to Dump Trump Over Epstein Files, Lawmaker Claims

Republican lawmakers in the House are ready to abandon Donald Trump because of fallout from files related to convicted child abuser Jeffrey Epstein, according to one Democratic lawmaker, David McAfee reported for Raw Story.

Rep. Eric Swalwell took to social media recently to make a striking claim related to the disgraced financier, who has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories since authorities said he killed himself in prison.

Without specifying exactly what he was referring to, the lawmaker wrote, “It’s coming to an end, guys.”

“I’ve spoken to a lot of House Republicans this week, and they’ve confided that Trump’s movement and support are fading,” he added. “As one told me, ‘This Epstein bomb is about to drop, and no one wants to defend a pedo-protector. It’s just a matter of time.’”

One popular influencer, Candidly Tiff, replied, “Gotta see it to believe it, but I welcome it.”
