Huawei Launches 11 Scenario-Based Solutions

On day 2 of HUAWEI CONNECT 2021, Peng Zhongyang, Board Member of Huawei, President of the Enterprise Business Group, delivered a keynote address on "Diving into Digital for a Brighter Future," three focus areas of scenario, models, and ecosystem to the vision and propose the future of industrial digital transformation.

During the event, Huawei released 11 innovative scenario-based solutions for customers in the public services, transportation, finance, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Through continuous collaboration with partners, Huawei aims to meet customer requirements in different phases of digital transformation, address challenges, seize new opportunities for transformation and create value for the industry.

Mr. Peng Zhongyang, Board Member of Huawei, President of the Enterprise Business Group, said: "Huawei will continue to immerse themselves in the digital world - with a focus on scenarios, models, and partners - to help customers shape their digital transformation successfully. Dive into the digital - focus on scenarios, models, and partners

Diving into the digital world is an iterative process. As digital transformation has become an industry consensus, the focus has shifted from whether or not to go digital to how to go digital. To help enterprise customers innovate models, improve quality and efficiency, enhance the experience, and build resilience, Huawei highlighted three focus areas for immersion in the digital world.

Digitization scenario: Huawei believes that the key to further integrating ICT and business processes lies in the following three aspects: from the auxiliary system to the core/production system, from the management cockpit to the details of operating scenarios, and from the digitization of a domain to the comprehensive digitization of all Scenarios. Huawei has continuously gained experience with different scenarios, deepening its knowledge in each scenario, and therefore can address important business problems in the industry.

Since 2016, Huawei has been promoting an all-around strategy of digital transformation by integrating digitization into Huawei itself. Tao Jingwen, Huawei board member and CIO, said: To achieve digital transformation, companies must develop digital platforms as a foundation and focus on corporate restructuring to support the success of their core business. Huawei developed Horiz, a digital enablement platform based on its own transformation experience. This open platform will help companies from various industries to achieve digitization and strengthen their global competitiveness."

Model transformation: Huawei uses a new model of consulting, integration, and operational support to help customers with their digital transformation. In the next five years, Huawei plans to bring more than 300 tailor-made service solutions to the market, establish more than 200 service standards and develop over 800 service solution partners.

China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation (PipeChina), founded in 2019, has worked with Huawei on its digital transformation journey since its inception and is committed to distinguishing itself through digitization. Liu Zhongyun, Vice General Manager of PipeChina, said: Digital transformation is a complex, systematic and long-term process. Digital platforms and data are the key to the digitization of PipeChina and also the basis for immersion in digitization. PipeChina will continue to work with Huawei on digital transformation to thrive based on shared resources, standardized architecture, converged data, capability as a service, and bespoke applications."

Development of partner systems: Huawei will extensively update the partner system to ensure mutual success and continued operation as a solid basis for the development of competence partners. The Digital China Group is one of Huawei's strategic partners worldwide. Guo Wei, President, Chairman of Digital China, reported on the experiences and results of the cooperation with Huawei in the digital transformation: "In today's digital world, Digital China's mission is to create a cloud-native" MetaVerse "with new infrastructure, cloud Building technologies, and networks. This will define a new future for society. Digital China wants to work with Huawei and other ecosystem partners to immerse themselves in the digital world, enable the digital transformation of industries, innovate together and be successful in the future."

At the event, Huawei released 11 innovative scenario-based solutions across five industries - public services, energy, finance, transportation, and manufacturing - as part of its research into digital transformation innovations.

In the public sector, City Intelligent Twins' three key solutions have been released, namely Unified Urban Governance in One Network, Assisted Operation Service, and Zero Trust Security. It continuously supports governments in transforming their administrative processes and enables the construction of a new type of smart city that is more comfortable, more innovative, more humanistic, more resilient, and greener.

In the energy field, the intelligent power plant solution and the smart gas station solution help the participants in the energy industry to achieve high-quality development and build a green, low-carbon, safe, and efficient, carbon-free intelligent energy system.

In the financial sector, mobile payment and the Digital CORE solution will help transform financial institutions into better ecosystem-based digital companies. It will help build a fully connected, intelligent, and ecosystem-based financial sector.

In the transport sector, the modernized solutions Smart Airport, Smart ATC, and Comprehensive Transportation will continue to enable comfortable travel and smooth logistics and support customer success in the digital transformation.

Ultimately, the Intelligent Automaker solution is intended to improve efficiency and experience in manufacturing, while at the same time enabling innovation.
