In a pointed critique during an interview, Cuban criticized Twitter for its transformation under Musk's leadership, stating, “Twitter has become just a cesspool for hate,” as reported by Jing Pan for Fortune.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald shared a clip of the interview, suggesting that the negativity on Twitter exists because Musk refuses to censor as much, to which Musk responded by calling Cuban “an insufferable tool.”
Cuban's playful response was, “He’s my best friend. He’s a real bad b—-. Got his own car. Don’t need no Lyft. I ❤️you too Elon!”
This exchange follows a previous instance where the two billionaires clashed on social media in January over Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workforce. While Musk criticized DEI policies, Cuban emphasized the benefits of diversity in businesses, highlighting contrasting viewpoints on the matter.
