Megawide Bares Dividend Payout

Megawide Construction Corp. today announced that its Board of Directors has set the record date for its regular cash dividend for its Series 2A Preferred Shares (MWP2A) on November 7.

Photo Insert: The cash dividend is equal to PhP 1.1875 per share or a total of PhP 31,136,404.00 out of the unrestricted retained earnings of the Company as of 31 December 2021.

The regular dividends were supposed to be made on Nov 27 of each year but the board decided to make the payment date earlier.

With the early setting of the dividend declaration, the Board has likewise adjusted the payment date to 28 November 2022, given that 27 November 2022 is a Sunday.

The cash dividend is equal to PhP 1.1875 per share or a total of PhP 31,136,404.00 out of the unrestricted retained earnings of the Company as of 31 December 2021. As provided on page 23 of the Prospectus for the Series 2 Preferred Shares of the Company, dated 05 November 2020, cash dividends shall be payable on the said preferred shares on 27 February, 27 May, 27 August, and 27 November of each year.
