Musk Criticizes MacKenzie Scott For Supporting Women And Charities

Elon Musk isn't a fan of MacKenzie Scott's charitable giving. "'Super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouse' should be listed among 'Reasons that Western Civilization died,'" Musk wrote in an X post, referring to Jeff Bezos' ex-wife, Kwan Wei and Kevin Tan reported for Business Insider.

Musk, known for his outspoken nature, has been embroiled in controversies, including a lawsuit against OpenAI and Sam Altman, along with other executives, for violating their pledge to keep OpenAI a non-profit organization.

Altman responded by releasing a trove of emails indicating Musk's desire to take over as OpenAI CEO and merge it with Tesla, aiming to profit billions from OpenAI, which ultimately led to his departure from the company.

Now, he's engaging in a dispute with Scott, who completely disregards him as nothing but a barking dog with no bite.

Scott was married to Bezos for 25 years before their divorce in 2019. In the settlement, Scott received $38 billion worth of Amazon shares. Since then, she has made significant contributions to philanthropy.

In 2022, Scott disclosed in a Medium post that she'd donated nearly $2 billion to "343 organizations supporting the voices and opportunities of people from underserved communities."
