The Panublion Heritage Fair 2020 was able to surpass its sales target of P9M despite participants' limited movement and travel to experience the products of Western Visayas.

Department of Trade and Industry – Region 6 (DTI-Region 6) Asst. Regional Director Ermelina P. Pollentes expressed gratitude to all those who joined the exhibit, especially those who bought products displayed at the kiosks and for those who ordered at the online platform.

Pollentes said that the recently concluded event was able to reach P10,682,000 in cash sales, booked orders, and orders under negotiation, which was made possible with the collective effort of everybody to ensure that economic activity slowly returns to normalcy.

DTI-Region 6 Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon said that the Panublion Heritage Fair 2020 did not simply provide a venue for the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to display their products but likewise gave the people hope that businesses are slowly coming back.

One hundred two (102) MSMEs from the provinces of Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental participated showcasing a wide array of their distinct handicrafts and food products.

Participants in the exhibit have undergone a series of product development trainings and seminars like the enhancement of packaging and branding, among others under the One Town, One Product Next Generation Program of the DTI.
