Ukraine’s agricultural sector has suffered $8.7 billion in damage as Russian forces destroyed crops, farms, equipment and livestock since launching the invasion on February 24, 2022, the Kyiv School of Economics said, Ukraine Daily reported.

The New York Times reported on April 19, 2023 that senior tax and trade officials from the US and the European Union (EU) have noticed a "surge" in chips and other electronic components shipped to Russia that were "deemed as critical to the development of weapons, including Russian cruise missiles that have struck Ukraine."
Those components were to Russia via Armenia and Kazakhstan.
