SARI-SARI STORE FUNDS UP

The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through its PangKabuhayan sa PagBangon at Ginhawa (PBG) program awarded sari-sari store packages to six (6) barangay-based business owners and potential entrepreneurs at Barangay Ilaya del Norte, Paete, Laguna, recently.

Each beneficiary received assorted grocery items amounting no less than five thousand pesos, which would serve as an additional or starting capital for their respective businesses.

DTI-Laguna Provincial Director Susan R. Palo and Paete Municipal Mayor Rojilyn Q. Bagabaldo both mentioned in their speeches during the PBG awarding ceremony that this livelihood assistance is timely and would be a great support to local entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic.

Aside from the awarding of livelihood kits, the beneficiaries were oriented with DTI Negosyo Center services particularly Business Name Registration assistance. DTI-Laguna has six (6) more scheduled PBG runs this September at various identified priority areas.
