The Zion 2 incorporates a revolutionary idea that decouples the strobel, moving it from a full-length unit to a concentration on the heel, allowing for 20% more Zoom Air on the forefoot (improving responsiveness) and a smoother, more pleasant landing on the heel after an explosive dunk. Containment is required when there is explosiveness.

The Zion 2 has a performance cup sole that wraps high up the foot and a forefoot strap that works in conjunction with the lacing system to provide ideal support.
