Three major logistics companies are considering investing up to $1 billion to establish the Philippines as their regional hub in Asia, as disclosed by Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President and Chief Executive Officer Joshua Bingcang.

The chosen site for their facilities is a 20-hectare area at the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone.

Bingcang revealed that BCDA is in the final stages of negotiations with these three global logistics firms, with the company names set to be disclosed in the first quarter of the year.
Bingcang highlighted the strategic role of the Clark area in attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs) into the country, aligning with the goal of the Marcos administration to become the second-highest destination for FDIs in Southeast Asia by 2028.
He emphasized the commitment of BCDA to create a conducive environment for these companies, ensuring their successful establishment and operations in the region.
