Ukraine's Foreign Reserves Grow 1.9% In December 2022

Ukraine’s National Bank has disclosed that despite the war, foreign reserves grew by 1.9% in December 2022, still lower than pre-war level.

Italy’s leading newspaper La Repubblica revealed on Jan. 8 that the US had asked Italy to send air defense systems to Ukraine.


US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke on Jan. 6 with Francesco Talo, an advisor to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, asking Rome to supply Ukraine with air defense systems as soon as possible, according to the newspaper.
