Fortune has released its latest Global 500 ranking.

For the unfamiliar, the Global 500 is the publication’s annual list of the world’s largest companies by revenue—distinct from the Fortune 500, which is limited to U.S.-based firms, Andrew Nusca reported for Fortune Tech.
Walmart once again claimed the top spot, a position it has held for more than a decade, while rival Amazon continues to close the gap—growing at twice the pace.
Other notable placements among tech giants include: Apple at No. 8 (down one spot), Alphabet at No. 13 (up four spots), Microsoft at No. 22 (up four spots), Meta at No. 41 (up 25 spots), and Nvidia at No. 66 (up an astonishing 156 spots)
Tesla was the only member of the "Magnificent 7" that failed to crack the top 100, landing at No. 106 (up four spots). Then again, it has only been on the list for four years—a relatively short time compared to most of its Big Tech peers.
